Death of King James I.

He was born on 19 June 1566 and, following the enforced abdication of his mother (Mary Queen of Scots), was crowned James VI of Scotland on 24 July 1567. Following the unification of the realms of England and Scotland on 24 March 1603, he was crowned King James I of England and Ireland on 25 July 1603. James Charles Stuart died on 27 March 1625 and was buried in Westminster Abbey, London.
